Could Angelina Jolie indeed be the “unofficial ambassador” for Australia’s tourism industry? Authorities may not have a figure to quantify it but the presence in Australia of Brad Pitt’s long-time partner, Angelina Jolie, is seen as a great boost to the country’s tourism industry.

Angie did not waste any time after touching Down Under via Qantas flight commercial on Friday, Sept. 6. After the long flight from the U.S., the A-list actress took her brood for some sightseeing at the Luna Park and Taronga Zoo on Saturday, Sept 7.

Shiloh and Knox, Brangelina’s biological offspring, must have enjoyed soaking up the Aussie sunshine with ice cream and the fun with dancing clowns at the park on Saturday that they were seen again with the whole family the following day.

The growing family was out and about the following morning on Sunday, Sept 8. While everyone was still asleep at comfortable Aussie homes, the Brangelina brood was checking out fishes at the Sydney Aquarium and taking leisure stroll at the Darling Harbour after one hour of enjoying the fishes on their own.

And on Tuesday, Sept 11, the Jolie-Pitt kids were seen hitting some pins at the Strike Bowling Centre found at the Entertainment Quarter in Moore Park.

The picture of the family of A-list celebrities like Brad Pitt and Angelina is what every tourism manager could ask for. The local authorities could not help but expresss “delight” to see the country’s top spots that serve as backdrop for the shutterbugs following every move of the Brangelina brood.

For them, it’s a high profile publicity, yet it’s free. And it’s putting Australia and its great places in the tourism map.

"Australia doesn't always get the attention it deserves globally, so these sort of high-profile visits are really great for us, helping to generate a bit of buzz and attention on the world stage," said Tourism Australia's managing director, Andrew McEvoy, according to stuff.co.nz.

McEvoy believes that the iconic and top tourist spots in Australia with Angelina’s family clearly having fun in the foreground will garner media attention overseas.

"It's hard to quantify the exact value of what is effectively a working visit,” the tourism official noted.

"But I think we can certainly say that, so far, the likes of Taronga Zoo, Luna Park and Sea Life Sydney Aquarium have all provided wonderfully photogenic backdrops for the paparazzi tracking Angelina's every move, and ensured that Australia and some of our most iconic and popular tourism attractions have received incredible global coverage, free of charge, right across the world."

The Australian Associated Press also said that the actress was also seen Wednesday, scouting locations at the New South Wales to shoot her second directorial film, ‘Unbroken.’ But her working visit as authorities called it, also included taking time out in between jobs to pose for photos with locals from Werris Creek, a small town in the south west of Tamworth.

Early reports claim that Angie has her eyes set on the Gold Coast and Sydney to film the extraordinary life of Louie Zamperini, the focus of her story in ‘Unbroken.’ British actor, Jack O’Connell nabbed what Mail Online touted as one of the most promising and breakthrough performances in 2013.
