Previously on "Homeland," viewers saw how Carrie Mathison’s (Claire Danes) daughter Frannie had been taken away by child protection services who deemed her unfit to be a mother. Carrie even tried to make her stand clear to investigator Christine Lonas (Marin Hinkle), who is of the firm belief that Frannie is in danger. This is especially after Carrie’s latest scuffle with Quinn.

This pushed Carrie to get into drinking in a vain attempt to comfort herself. Later on, she asks President Elizabeth Keane (Elizabeth Marvel) for an intervention. However, the elected president could not just meddle with her issues. Later on, viewers found out that it was Dar Adal (F. Murray Abraham) who reported Carrie to child services.

Spoiler alert! This article contains “The Young and the Restless” spoilers. Read on if you would like to know what happens before the next episode airs.

The official synopsis for this episode, titled “Alt. Truth,” reveals that Carrie and Saul Berenson (Mandy Patinkin) will be working together again. They will present evidence to President Keane. In the meantime, Quinn (Rupert Friend) will track a mark.

While the synopsis reveals very little, the YouTube promo has more to share. The video starts with Saul approaching Carrie in her bedroom. She looks very distressed while listening to something on her headphones and hunched in an uncomfortable position. Saul acknowledges that such might not be the best time to approach her and tells her that she needs some help.

It seems Saul and Carrie will be working hand in hand again to provide evidence to President Keane that could help them find the answers to their investigation. This could mean that the truth behind all those recent events could finally even out, should their efforts be fruitful.

In the previous episode, viewers saw how the recent president-elect of the United States can be so accommodating. It is not usual for somebody to have the most powerful person on earth as a speed dial contact, but such is not the case for Carrie. In season 6 episode 8, it would be very interesting to see if President Keane will finally give her attention and if she will consider the evidence presented. Obviously, this information means a lot because Carrie and Saul are willing to put their lives on the line.

This episode of “Homeland,” titled “Alt.Truth,” is scheduled to air on March 12 on Showtime in the US. It will also air on Australia on Channel TEN.
