In the previous episode of “Homeland,” Peter Quinn (Rupert Friend) woke up from a nightmare and was about to take a shower. As he was turning the water on, gas comes out instead of water. Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) immediately comes to comfort him and they share a long embrace. Quinn starts to lift her shirt, which she immediately stops. Carrie asks if they need to call Max (Maury Sterling), to which he responds that he does not need a baby sitter.

Spoiler alert! This article contains “Homeland” spoilers. Read on if you would like to know what happens before the next episode airs.

Carrie had a visit from the FBI who set up Sekou Bah (J. Mallory McCree). She will get informed that they will be withdrawing Sekou’s plea and he could have 15 years in super maximum. Reda Hashem (Patrick Sabongui) got pissed that he violated a court order. Later on, Carrie broke the bad news to Sekou, who seemed okay with it at first but as the details sank in, he heavily unloaded on her.

Later on, Carrie got hold of a flash drive that was sent to her along with flowers. This contained a recording of a phone call between Ray Conlin (Dominic Fumusa) and the informant, where they talk about setting up Sekou. Carrie demanded that all charges against Sekou be dropped or she will send that audio to the Attorney General.

The previous episode ended with a cliffhanger. Fans had to wait a week to find out what happens next as “Homeland” had make way for the Super Bowl.

The YouTube promo for Season 6 Episode 4 shows Dar Adal stalking Carrie as she fetches Franny (Claire Keane) from school. He will warn her that he has knowledge about her connection to Elizabeth Keane (Elizabeth Marvel). Carrie and Keane’s meeting was also shown. She and her aide made it clear that Dar Adal (F. Murray Abraham) has to be stopped. Carrie gets worried because she is aware that no matter what happens Saul Berenson (Mandy Patinkin) will get caught in the crossfire.

The official synopsis reveals that Saul’s trip will hit a dead end. Later on, he will end up getting kidnapped as unidentified men will show up from out of nowhere. What is puzzling is that the leader looks very American. This could mean that the person behind all this is Dar.

Meanwhile, Sekou will be freed; but the court issues an order that he has to lie low and stop posting videos. However, this client looks defiant. The promo shows Sekou recording another video informing his social media followers that he is back. This means another headache to deal with for Carrie.

This episode of “Homeland,” titled “A Flash of Light,” will air on February 12, Sunday, at 9 p.m. on Showtime. It also airs on Channel TEN in Australia.
