"Homeland" Season 4 is nearing its finale. But before that Showtime's political thriller is set to air some explosive segments. Episode 11 titled "Krieg Nicht Lieb" is going to feature an intriguing storyline with some major developments focusing on the main characters of the series. Here are few spoilers on the upcoming segment of "Homeland" Season 4. Read on to find out what happens next. [Warning: Spoilers Alert!]

The last-aired episode featured some thrilling moments. Carrie and Saul come out alive out of the convoy that was attacked by the Haqqani's terrorists. However, John Redmond lost his life in the explosion. Meanwhile, Haqqani and other militants infiltrate the government facility. Killing some of the personnel at the embassy, the terrorists take others hostage. As for Martha, Dennis and Lockhart, they find their way to the vault, a secret hiding in the embassy.

In the meantime, Quinn tries recalling their Marines, but fails to do so. The episode saw lots of action and bloodbath as the terrorists continue to kill the government employee's back at the facility and at the site of explosion. Carrie seeks Aasar Khan's help and makes a call to him. However, Tasneem reveals ISI is siding with Taliban. She forces Khan to delay the dispatch of their soldiers by 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, Quinn and one of the Marine get into action and successfully tackle Taliban. As for Haqqani, he finds his way to the vault and successfully acquires what he was looking for from Lockhart. Injured Haqqani manages to escape the embassy, while other terrorists are killed. The war takes life of many militants, embassy employees and Fara.

The US president breaks ties with Pakistan government and orders the evacuation of the embassy. Max is heartbroken over Fara's death and Carrie makes the call to Fara's father. Meanwhile, Quinn gets into action and takes things into his hands. He leaves the embassy at night to abduct Farad Ghazi, who kidnapped Saul. He takes Ghazi to a room and torture and interrogates him. As for Carrie, she is allowed to stay back in Pakistan for five more days in order to find Quinn and bring him back.

Moving on to the Episode 11 of "Homeland" Season 4, the network has released a brief synopsis teasing exciting spoilers on its official website. As per the Google translation "Krieg Nicht Lieb" means "War, Not Love." It seems, for once Carrie agrees with the US government and their decision to evacuate the embassy and go back home. According to the media report, Carrie takes matters into her own hands to "get her team out of Pakistan." For that she is going to put everything "on line." But with Quinn determined to even scores with the terrorists and Max turned against Carrie, will she be able to bring them home safely. Furthermore, "Max confronts Carrie" and Quinn makes a contact with one an "old" associate in the penultimate episode.

The network has released some promo videos giving a glimpse of exciting moments from "Homeland" Season 4 Episode 11 "Krieg Nicht Lieb" on its official YouTube channel. In one of the promos, Carrie approaches Aasar Khan and tells him that "He (Quinn) thinks he can fix this by himself, but all he can do is get himself killed." Will she be able to save him? The promo from the penultimate episode teases an action-packed episode. At the end of the promo, Quinn grabs Carrie by her throat and asks her to listen for once.

Another promo teases, Quinn reaching out to an old friend expecting support from her in his mission. "There was a Taliban flag waving over my head. I can't let that stand," he tells her and she agrees to help him. Another promo video from Episode 11 sees Max confronting Carrie over Fara's death. He accuses her of taking her advantage and tells her avenge her death by killing Haqqani.

Homeland" stars Claire Danes as Carrie Mathison, Rupert Friend as Peter Quinn, Mandy Patinkin as Saul Berenson, Nazanin Boniadi as Fara, Laila Robins as Martha Boyd and more. Season 4 Episode 11 "Krieg Nicht Lieb" is slated to air on Dec. 14, 2014 at 9 p.m. on Showtime.
