'Home and Away' star Pia Miller brushes off rumours that she's a diva on set
'Home and Away' airs Mondays to Thursday on Seven Network Australia
Pia Miller has made a name for herself for her notable role in “Home and Away,” where she plays Senior Constable Katarina Chapman. However, things do not appear all good as the 32 year old Chilean born beauty has lately been the subject of several rumours about her supposed attitude on set and that her co-stars could not tolerate her anymore.
“People do not like Pia” says a source, adding that the model turned actress has tendencies to excessively flaunt her stunning looks and rub it in their faces every chance that she gets. It is also said that although she has one of the smallest acting portfolios on the show, she carries herself as if she is a five-time Oscar winner.
In a report by Daily Mail, Pia says that she and fellow cast members just laughed off the rumours. She adds that they always have been, and will always be, a family behind the screen. Her co-star Ada Nicodemou, who appears on the show as Leah Patterson-Baker, also defended her by addressing the rumours are merely comical.
Ada adds that there have never been on set tensions and such negative rumours are just plainly baseless; they even look forward to seeing each other every day.
A spokesperson from Seven also defended Pia by saying that her recent Logie nomination in the best new talent category is solid proof of her popularity. He adds that since beginning on “Home and Away” 18 months ago, Pia underwent a colossal career change. She reportedly had to deal with stress from relocating from Melbourne to Sydney and even working through a relationship breakdown, says a report from Yahoo News Australia.
Her on-set confidence, as well as that which she displays on her role, might have just let this beautiful lady to be misunderstood, quite probably because a lot of fans of the Australian soap opera are quite annoyed at her role in the soap.
