“Home and Away” is gearing for more emotional episodes next week. Roo Stewart is about to receive a news that will change her life dramatically, while Marilyn visits John in prison for the first time.

Things are running smoothly between Roo (Georgie Parker) and her young boyfriend James Edmunds (Myles Pollard) until she collapses. The two earlier decided to live together.

In a teaser for the upcoming episode, Roo asks James to get her a cup of coffee while moving things to their new place. Roo then passes out and James finds her lying on the floor. James insists on having her check out in the hospital.

Roo at first dismisses the incident, but her love ones are getting worried. They suspect that she could be going through the menopause. This starts to worry Roo too, especially now that she is just starting a new relationship with James.

She will be taken to the hospital to undergo some tests. On Tuesday, Roo will hit another scare when her doctor phones her and asks her to come to the surgery immediately. According to TV Week (via DigitalSpy), Roo will urge her doctor to tell her what's going on over the phone. She will be left shaken by what the doctor reveals to her.

Back to the Bay teases Roo’s dilemma on Wednesday’s episode is how to break her news to James. What is wrong with Roo? Is she really in her menopausal stage? If so, will it affect their relationship?

Meanwhile, Marilyn Chambers (Emily Symons) pays John Palmer (Shane Withington) a visit in prison. It is her first time to visit, hence she is still wrapping her head around the prison rules. She vows to her husband that she will visit him every day until he is released from prison.

Elsewhere, Olivia Richards (Raechelle Banno) will celebrate her 18th birthday. As much as she wants to avoid to have a party, her love ones seem to have prepared something for her. On Tuesday, Olivia’s birthday lunch will turn out to be more memorable than she expected.
