Back to the Bay reports that on Tuesday’s run, Hunter’s plan to have a gap year with Olivia does not bode well with the others. Meanwhile, Kat is finding it more and more difficult to resist Ash. Elsewhere, Caroline struggles to come clean with Duncan about her disease. The Morgans, on the other hand, find that they’re still not free from their dark past.

Seven Network posted a sneak peek of the upcoming run. In the trailer, Roo informs Duncan and Alf that Caroline and Bryce are gone. She reckons they’re headed to the airport. Duncan seeks Kat’s help to find his ex-wife and son. After finding out that Ash supplied Caroline with marijuana, Kat confronts her ex-boyfriend. Ash says he did it because Caroline’s sick and he’s willing to go to jail for that. Instead of being mad, Kat is touched by Ash’s gesture and kisses him. Phoebe also share an intimate moment with Justin, but she tells him to go before she makes a big mistake.

“Home and Away” recap

In the previous episode, Justin was surprised that Phoebe’s treating him coldly despite bonding over Billie’s accident. He confided in on Brody, but his brother was busy preparing for a big night at Salt. He prepared a new special, which left Evie extremely impressed. Later, a celebrity food critic arrived and Evie advised him to serve the dish. Brody was beside himself so Evie volunteered to bring the plate to the VIP, who agreed to try it.

After finally cornering Phoebe, Justin realised why she’s acting out – she didn’t want to let herself fall for him. Later, Justin asked Brody for a favour – to sing live at Salt to serenade Phoebe. That night, Justin played the guitar and performed for Phoebe. He also invited her to join him on stage, and they sang together and shared a warm moment.

When the two got off the stage, Brody told them that the food critic liked the food so much that he wants to feature Salt in his magazine. While it sounded like good news, the man also wanted to put the spotlight on Brody, which his family definitely doesn’t need.

Meanwhile, Caroline discussed more about her degenerative disease with Roo, who told her to tell Duncan. Caroline said she’s not revealing anything to Duncan since Huntington’s disease is hereditary – there may be a chance that Bryce could also get it. Roo insisted that Duncan has a right to know and threatened to tell her brother. Roo could not accept the fact that Caroline had a child knowing she’s sick. Later, Caroline went to Roo’s place to explain that her pregnancy’s an accident. She begged Roo not to say anything to Duncan.

Duncan asked to talk to Caroline alone. He told her that he’s fighting for full custody, leaving Caroline devastated. Duncan was surprised when Caroline agreed, saying that it’s better for him to take care of Bryce. Shortly after, Caroline told Roo her decision, making the latter believe that she’s finally doing something right for Bryce. Later, however, Roo spotted Caroline hauling off her stuff – and Bryce – into a vehicle. Realising Caroline’s running away with Bryce, Roo tried to stop her to no avail.

Elsewhere, Hunter proposes to have a gap year with Olivia. She hesitated at first, but Hunter was able to convince her it’s just what they need.
