Other “Home and Away” cast members who will also appear on the May 16 installment include Irene Roberts (Lynne McGranger), Josh Barrett (Jackson Gallagher), Evelyn “Evie” MacGuire (Philippa Northeast), Katarina Chapman (Pia Miller), Andy (Tai Hara) and Zac (Charlie Clausen).

Network Seven posted a sneak peek for Monday’s episode. In the preview video, Ricky lovingly asks Nate, “Did I ever tell you you’re the best man I’ve ever met?” The next scene shows that their van explodes due to faulty electrical wiring. Nate then desperately looks for Ricky. In another clip, Ricky tells Nate, “All we’ve done is fight.” He, on the other hand, says, “I’m not sure this is the way to start a marriage.” Ricky admits that she may have made a mistake when she married Nate. Irene reminds her, “Everyone knows that Rex is the love of your life.”

"Home and Away" recap

On Thursday, Evie decided that she wants to get married right away, fresh from mourning over Oscar. A few minutes before their wedding, Josh was surprised to see that Evie already prepared the necessary documents which were required to be submitted a month before the wedding. Evie explained that she accomplished the forms right after Josh asked her to marry him. Elsewhere, Alf was looking for Evie. He told Zac and Leah that Evie and Josh seemed to be up to something, as they were all dressed up before leaving the house. When Alf went to the computer, she saw the web site that Evie last visited and they realised where she is, and what she plans to do with Josh. Zac and Leah rushed to stop the wedding right before it happened. Later, Evie explained to Josh why she was so intent on marrying him as soon as possible. She imagined that Oscar would be the one walking the down the aisle. She somehow thought that if she got wedded right then, it would still feel that Oscar was still there. Josh reassured her that Oscar will never be gone.
