Back to the Bay reports that Wednesday’s episode also features Leah, who continues to be at odds with Zac. Fans would remember that things weren’t going well between Zac and Leah after she discovered that Sam’s back in town and met with him. Zac explained what happened and told Leah that he asked Sam to leave. Leah was overwhelmed with all the women being involved with him, but Zac insisted he hasn’t done anything wrong.

Seven Network posted a sneak peek of the Feb. 15 episode on its official website. In the trailer, everyone is distraught after learning about Billie’s health crisis, especially VJ and Ash. VJ and Billie decide to get married before her disease takes its toll. In front of their loved ones, an emotional ceremony is held. Afterwards, Billie asks VJ for a favour and they’re seen leaving the hospital. A few moments later, Nate panics when he discovers Billie missing.

“Home and Away” recap

In the previous episode, Billie was rushed to the hospital after she fainted during the baby blessing. There, she regained consciousness but had difficulty breathing. Ash arrived, followed by Leah and Zac, and all of them were freaking out. They have a good reason to panic – Nate and Tori examined Billie’s X-ray and they discovered that something’s blocking her airways. Riley decided to do some tests to find out exactly what’s going on.

That night, Nate, Tori and Riley sat down with Billie’s loved ones to deliver the results: Billie has a mass in her windpipe that’s been preventing her to get enough oxygen. Riley said more tests will be conducted to find out more about Billie’s condition. The next day, Nate was taking some time off at the beach when he received the grim news about Billie. He rushed to the hospital to inform Billie that the mass found near her lungs was malignant. According to Nate, they can’t perform surgery because of its location. Worse, the type of cancer that Billie has doesn’t respond to chemo or radiotherapy. Billie was shattered to hear there’s nothing that the doctors can do to save her life and that she only has a few days to live.

Amid the chaos, Tori apologised to Nate for believing Riley earlier. Nate wondered if Tori asked Riley to leave. When she didn’t answer, Nate seemed to accept defeat and said he’s giving up. Meanwhile, Riley was doing everything to win back Tori, including getting in Mason’s good books. Riley asked Mason to observe during Billie’s procedure, which Tori’s youngest brother appreciated. Later, Tori decided to invite Riley out for some drinks.
