What she initially thought was just a sore throat may be turning out to be something far worse. She’s horrified to see that she began coughing up blood. “Home and Away” fans that Billie’s character is saying goodbye to the Bay soon, and a fatal illness may be the reason behind it.

Back to the Bay reports that Monday’s episode also centres on Leah as she finds out that Zac has been hiding a dangerous secret. Marilyn, on the other hand, continues to suffer emotionally from her burn injuries. Meanwhile, Hunter sees Mason and Olivia getting closer than ever, which breaks his heart even more.

Seven Network posted a sneak peek of the Feb. 13 episode on its official website. In the trailer, Zac orders Sam to stop harassing him. She insists that they both feel something for each other. Matt catches them talking and wonders who that woman is. Zac dismisses his question, but Matt realises he’s hiding something from Leah. When Zac says that he doesn’t want Leah to find out he was talking to “her,” Leah arrives just in time to hear it. She wonders who Zac is referring to.

“Home and Away” recap

In the previous episode, Evie and Matt were having the time of their lives as a couple. While having lunch at Salt, Evie received a message from Maddie, who’s currently in Greece. Evie assured Matt that she already told his ex that they’re together. According to Evie, Maddie was happy for them and even invited them to go sailing together with her in Greece. While Matt didn’t seem too keen on the idea, Evie was roaring to accept Maddie’s offer. He thought there’s something fishy about his ex-girlfriend’s invitation.

Matt came up with all excuses not to go, including money problems – he said they can’t simply afford the trip. Evie offered to pay for both of them plus his sister, but he declined it. However, after consulting with Alf, Matt realised there’s nothing wrong with Evie’s offer and changed his mind. He rushed to tell Evie about it and she’s ecstatic that he accepted her proposal.

Leah continued to feel hurt and upset after finding out the truth about Billie’s baby. She really thought Luc is her granddaughter and she can’t wrap her head around the fact that they’re not even related. While Leah was complaining about Billie’s lies, Billie arrived with Luc and overheard the conversation. Billie and Leah got the chance to talk alone and they both apologised to each other. Billie volunteered to move out, but Leah wouldn’t hear any of it.

The two women made up, but later, Billie still felt distraught. She shared her sentiments with VJ, who assured Billie that things will work out. Meanwhile, Leah bumped into Zac at the beach and she lashed out at him, blaming him for pushing her to blow up earlier. Unknown to them, Sam was watching the whole spectacle from afar. Later, Zac went to have drinks at Salt so he could take his mind off what happened. Sam arrived and approached him, leaving him completely stunned. He confronted her, demanding to know what she wants from him. “I want you,” Sam boldly revealed.

That evening, Billie thought of a way to somehow involve Leah and give her an official role in Luc’s life. Billie wanted to have a baby blessing and make Ash and Leah official guide parents. VJ agreed it’s a great idea, but asked for time to think about it before they ask Leah about it. Later, VJ talked to his mum and told her about the baby blessing.
