Seven Network posted a sneak peek of the Aug.31 episode. In the trailer, Justin arrives at Phoebe’s doorstep to apologise, but she refuses to forgive him. Kat and Phoebe wonder where they could meet guys who are the exact opposite of Justin and Ash. They seek the help of Chris, and he invites them over to the diner. “Home and Away” recap

On Tuesday, doctors tried to revive Brody after his heart stopped. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief after he gave signs of life. However, he wasn’t out of danger yet. Since he had one cardiac arrest, the chances of him recovering are slim. Tori also worried that Brody won’t be strong enough to handle his situation. If he survived, there was also a high possibility of having his leg amputated.

Justin blamed Decker, leaving Tori and Mason stunned beyond belief. Justin revealed that the plane crash wasn’t an accident, and shared the whole story to his siblings. Tori realised that Decker used Justin as bait to get Spike. She was devastated – they trusted Decker with their lives and he put them in harm’s way.

Fortunately, the Morgans received terrific news: Brody’s surgery went well and the doctors didn’t have to amputate his leg. It seemed he’s out of the woods now. It was an emotional moment when Tori, Justin and Mason went to visit Brody at his room. Tori realised that they are stronger when they’re together, and asked Justin to come back home. Later, Justin packed his things from Phoebe’s place before moving out. Before he left, Phoebe warned Justin not to do anything stupid as payback against Decker.

Now that he’s recovered, Duncan began to wonder what caused the plane crash. He found it weird that everyone just fell asleep all of a sudden. Later, he called Tori to further investigate on the matter. He was curious about what Justin said – that there was smoke coming out of the plane. The next day, Tori and Justin discussed about the story they should come up with about the plane crash. They’re still under witness protection program, so they can’t exactly reveal that it had something to do with the man hunting them down. Everything that’s been happening began taking its toll on Tori, and Justin told her to take a break and get herself together. Once alone, Justin called Decker, asking him for a meet-up.

Later, Brody finally woke up, much to the delight and relief of his siblings. Their reunion got cut short when Justin left to meet Decker. Justin lashed at him for putting his siblings in danger. Decker couldn’t apologise enough and assured that the Morgans are safe at Summer Bay. However, Justin was still seething mad and wanted to have a different police officer to serve as their protector. Phoebe then arrived and saw Justin about to have a go at Decker, so she ran to intervene. Justin then turned his fury to Phoebe, telling her she’s not his girlfriend and ordering her to back off.

Duncan caught Roo off-guard when he said he’s contemplating to leave Summer Bay. Roo tried to convince him to change his mind, but it seemed her brother’s already made up his mind. Later, Duncan was looking for a pen when he spotted Alf’s letter inside a drawer. Alf wrote a heartfelt note for Duncan while the latter was still missing after the plane crash. After reading it, Duncan changed his mind about leaving and told Alf that he’d be sticking around Summer Bay for longer. Alf and Roo couldn’t be happier, and began making plans.

Meanwhile, VJ and Billie were relieved to hear that the baby was fine. They were quite emotional upon seeing the image at the monitor. The doctor then asked whether they’d like to find out the baby’s gender. VJ immediately said yes, but Billie wanted to wait it out first. The next day, Billie shared her fears with Irene – she’s scared that her baby might turn out bad. Irene tried to assure Billie, who then mentioned Irene’s son. Later, Billie and VJ made up and decided together to find out the baby’s gender.
