'Home and Away' cast updates: Christie Hayes spills details on ex co-star Chris Hemsworth's sly comment on the red carpet

Before he was cast as Thor and way before he was Hollywood’s biggest heartthrob, Chris Hemsworth starred in Australian soap opera “Home and Away.” During his stint on the show, he starred with actress Christie Hayes who has recently revealed that Hemsworth had quite some affection for her while they worked together.

From what was revealed, it looks like Hemsworth surely was not shy in letting his colleague know about his admiration. He reportedly paid her a lewd compliment while on the red carpet. Hayes appeared on the show as Kirsty Sutherland at the same time Hemsworth appeared as Kim Hyde.

While both on them were on “Home and Away, Hayes appeared in a Pepsi ad. While it was short and quite discreet, it looks like Hemsworth found this commercial appealing in a deeper manner, especially when Hayes bit her lip towards the end of the video.

In an interview with Yahoo Australia, Hayes revealed that she was not too proud about the said Pepsi commercial. She did bite her lip towards the end and, back then, she thought that it was the dorkiest thing she ever did. She said found it very unsexy. Hemsworth, on the other hand, found this gesture to be the exact opposite of what she thought.

Hayes reveals that she and Hemsworth saw each other at the “Borat” premiere and he told her that he loved her commercial. Then, Hemsworth reportedly said “I shouldn’t be saying this, but every time you bit your lip, I got a massive erection.”

Fortunately, Hayes never seemed offended at all from this “compliment.” She reveals that Hemsworth was dating somebody at that time and all that was said jokingly, but she says that such is her claim to fame. That once upon a time, she turned Chris Hemsworth on.

Hemsworth did not meet his wife Elsa Pataky until 2010 and, during that time, he was believed to be dating “Home and Away” co-star Isabel Lucas. As for Hayes, she can be heard on Wollongong’s i98FM breakfast show. Christie and husband Daniel White are proud parents to sons Hendrix and Harley. Meanwhile, Chris Hemsworth remains a Hollywood A-lister and is set to appear on the big screen again for “Thor: Ragnarok,” which is set to be released in October 2017.

“Home and Away” is currently on break. It is expected to return in January 30, 2017 for its 30th season. The soap airs Monday to Thursday at 7:00 p.m. on Seven Network in Australia. In the UK, “Home and Away” airs during weekdays at 1:15 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Channel 5.
