Zac is determined to win back Leah. His effort, however, will lead to a tragic accident.

Zac (Charlie Clausen) previously admitted to Leah (Ada Nicodemou) his infidelity. He confessed that he cheated on her with his novel editor Sam. This forced Leah to ask for a divorce. Since then, Zac has been desperately trying to reunite with her.

His most recent attempt was when he invited her to a special lunch date. However, it did not persuade Leah to rekindle the romance, so Zac turned to drinking. On Thursday’s episode, he will endanger his life further with his drinking habit.

Zac will try one more time to win back Leah. He turns up at the Summer Bay House only to find it locked up. Zac climbs his way onto the roof to try the bedroom window. Leah and Roo (Georgie Parker) then arrive home just in time to see Zac fall to the ground. Network Seven released some photos of the scene showing Zac on top of the roof.

The high school teacher will be rushed to the hospital. Tori (Penny McNamee) tells Leah that he has a serious bleed on the brain. Zac’s status will eventually get worse.

Zac’s son Hunter (Scott Lee) blames Leah for what happened. “It’s just a bad situation all round. Leah and Zac are both at fault for the breakdown of their marriage, so she feels guilty. She loves him. She just doesn’t know if she can trust him again. It’s too difficult to get past,” Ada told TV Week (via Back to the Bay).

Apparently, Zac will survive the surgery, but there will be a shocking twist that awaits the family. Back to the Bay teases that it has something to do with Hunter and a DNA test.

Will Zac’s effort pay off and change Leah’s mind about the divorce? Or will it lead to the character’s departure from Summer Bay?

There have been rumours late last year that Clausen is leaving the Aussie longest-running soap. The actor has denied the rumours and said that he has already signed a new contract for the show for an undisclosed period of time.

Elsewhere, Brody’s lies will start to unravel as Tori gets closer to the truth about his brother. Raffy earlier found out that Brody is still involved in the illegal drug trade after their dog Buddy took and ate his stash. To pay Zannis (Caleb Alloway) for the supply he failed to sell, Brody resorted to stealing from his friends.

“Home and Away” airs weekdays at 7 p.m. on Network Seven in Australia. It also airs weekdays at 1:15 p.m. and 6 p.m. in the UK over at Channel 5.
