Is Hollywood's golden couple finally getting married? Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been engaged since April of this year but the couple has remained very tight-lipped about their exact wedding date.

Now, speculations started to circulate that the wedding might actually happen as soon as this weekend.

According to reports, the couple's upcoming wedding speculation is currently at fever pitch and it is claimed that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will tie the knot in the coming days at their private estate in the South of France, Chateau Miraval. There are also rumors about the wedding preparations to be on the process already and locals believe that there are also extended party plans for the reported 50th golden wedding anniversary for the parents of Brad Pitt.

"Brad flew in to oversee preparations, but they're all here now," an unidentified source told The Sun. "They say it's for Jane and Bill, but some think this could be it," the source added.

Meanwhile, predictions on the exact wedding date have also been circulating that it will take place on Saturday. Var-Matin, a local French newspaper, predicts that the nuptial will happen on August 18 because it is reported that the mayor postponed a scheduled local fair that was set on that date.

However, a celebrity photo agency rushed to the property and reported that there were no signs of party preparations at the $35 million worth chateau close to Brignoles which is a tiny village that is not far from Aix-en-Provence.

The newly renovated 14th-century estate has its own chapel and it is a feature that has fueled the rumors about the pair getting married in France after Pitt proposed to Jolie with a giant diamond ring that he personally designed with jeweler Robert Procop.

Even though the couple originally stated that marriage for them was off the table until gay couples across the country are given the same right to walk down the aisle, Brad Pitt revealed that it was their kids who badly wanted a wedding.

"It's a promise for the future, and their kids are very happy," Pitt's manager said when the engagement was confirmed.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are now traveling the world on filming movies and humanitarian projects together with their brood of six children: 11-year old Maddox, 8-year old Pax, 7-year old Zahara, 6-year old Shiloh and 4-year old twins Knox and Vivienne.

Representatives for the couple did not immediately respond or give any comment regarding the rumored wedding this weekend.
