"Holby City" cast members Jaye Jacobs as Donna, Bob Barrett as Sacha, David Ames as Dominic, Lee Mead as Lofty, Sophia Verlaine as Nina, Christian Vit as Matteo and Guy Henry as Hanssen will be featured in the medical drama's new episode titled "Baggage." It will air on BBC One on July 25. The upcoming episode will show Donna being forced to reveal the real reason for her return at Holby. Read on to learn more about it.

Donna reveals the reason why she returned

"Holby City" Series 19, episode 42 will show Donna finding out who her real friends are, according to the BBC One website. She will be forced to reveal why she came back to Holby after being gone for quite some time. She will also try to save face by using cash but will be shocked when things don't go her way. Plus, there will be an unexpected visitor at the Acute Assessment/Admissions Unit (AAU).

Nina wants Matteo to sign the divorce papers ASAP

Meanwhile, Nina will pressure Matteo to sign the divorce papers as the deadline arrives. However, she will wonder what's taking Matteo so long to do it. She'll also think about Hanssen and how much he knows about certain things.

Dominic is curious about Lofty

Elsewhere, Dominic will be determined to uncover the truth about Lofty. He will be urged to do so because Sacha will accidentally drop a hint about it. Dom will also take his mum's advice but will be totally unprepared for what will unfold.

'Holby City' Season 19 episode 42: 'Baggage' stars

David Ajao as Damon Ford, Julia Deakin as Carole Copeland, Briana Shann as Mia Barron, Emma Davies as Andrea Lawley and Geoffrey Leesley as Brian Grover, will also appear in this episode, according to the Internet Movie Database (IMDb). They will be joined by Eleanor Fanyinka as Morven Digby, Alex Walkinshaw as Adrian "Fletch" Fletcher, Jemma Redgrave as Bernie Wolfe, Ayesha Dharker as Nina Karnik and Kaye Wragg as Essie Harrison. Tracey Rooney directed "Baggage," which was written by Patrick Homes.

'Holby City' episodes

The episode before "Baggage" is "Going the Distance," and it will air on Tuesday, July 18. It was written by Chris Murray and directed by Sean Glynn. It will show Essie worrying about being Parker's (Louis Davison) foster mum. She wants to be a good one, but she's hesitant to ask for help from Raf (Joe McFadden). Plus, Morven will return to work and dig right in to a special case. This will make Bernie worry, so she'll ask for Donna's assistance to watch over Morven.

Meanwhile, Jac (Rosie Marcel) will be depressed even more because Matteo assigned her to take care of Damon's assessment. However, Damon will actually do a good job under her guidance, and this will lift up her spirits. She'll feel bolder and ask for Hanssen to get her career on the right path as it was temporarily derailed.
