The much waited second part to "The Hobbit" the beginning of the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy finally revealed the dragon. The wicked and cunning dragon was released not through the media but showcased on a Boeing 777-300ER, in New Zealand to en route from Auckland to the city of angels, Los Angeles.

The Dragon is indeed what every fan of J.R.R Tolkien, would imagine. Strong, fatal looking and every bit reptilian like the dragons old folklore had mentioned of. One word would best describe dragons and that is "terrifying." They chose to showcase the dragon in a different manner and what would be more spectacular than this.

The sequel would start with Bilbo Baggins journey to help the dwarves gain back their kingdom after a dragon takes the kingdom for itself. The much waited movie will also bring back characters that were in the Oscar winning "Lord of the Rings".

Orlando Bloom will reprise his role as the Elvin prince, Legolas and this time he will be paired with an Elf that he fancies. Ian Mckellen who will also reprise his role as Gandalf will be seen in the upcoming movie.

Theaward-winning director, Peter Jackson has been able to showcase everything that is in the books. The director made sure that fans would be able to feel the intensity of the movie and the visual effects which would certainly bring them close to what is written in the books.

Warner Bros UK has officially released the second trailer of "The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug" where you will be able to see how fantastic the movie will be.
