'Hi-5' alum Lauren Brant shares realisations in life a year after rumoured affair with Beau Ryan

It hasn’t been an easy year for former “Hi-5” star Lauren Brant, especially after reports suggested that she’s having a scandalous affair her with married “Footy Show” host Beau Ryan.

Now, the 27-year-old Australian TV personality seems to be picking up the pieces of her life, energised with brand new realisations. Lauren took to Instagram to share a video of herself while working out. “In the last year I have learnt so much about living for MY own happiness and with that has come strength and [self-love],” she wrote. “I know who is important to me. Everything else is an option.”

It was around this time last year when reports circulated that Lauren were having an affair with Beau while working together on a Sydney stage production “Aladdin and his Wondrous Lamp.” Lauren’s ex-fiancé, personal trainer Warren Riley, dropped the bombshell on an interview with Woman’s Day. According to Warren, Lauren admitted to sleeping with Beau on more than one occasion.

It all went downhill from there for Lauren and Beau, as well as his family. Months after, everyone seemed to have recovered from the cheating scandal and moving on with their respective lives. Just last March, Beau and his wife Kara were featured in Woman’s Day, claiming that their relationship is stronger than ever. “It was like my whole world just fell apart,” Beau told the magazine. “I was just really upset and embarrassed and all I could think about was my family. I just wanted to make sure they were all right.”

While Kara was expectedly upset with the whole ordeal, she admitted that she was more worried about her husband. “He was still a very beautiful person and a loving father,” she said. “The grass isn’t always greener, and while it was a difficult situation, running from anything in life is never the answer.”

Meanwhile, Lauren seems to be busy focusing on self-improvement and inspiring others. “For anyone that has known me or followed me for a while, you know I am a big advocate for strong, powerful females who love themselves and support each other and that is what I always strive to be,” she wrote. “Well this translates from inner beauty to outer and now I have more of a desire to feel a look like a woman. Strong is the new skinny and womanly curves are sexy!!! Embrace it ladies.”
