The world's largest consumer electronics trade show, the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), opens in Las Vegas once again and the latest smartphones and tech gadgets from major makers such as Samsung, Sony and Huawei are set to steal the limelight. From Jan. 6 to 9 at the Sands Expo Center, CES 2016 will showcase more of everything compared to the 2015 version.

Many new tech gadgets will be revealed at various press events starting Jan. 4 with the Tech Trends to Watch press conference where business trends, market forces and consumer dynamics behind the technology on display at CES 2016 will be explained.

Here’s a roundup of some of the most exciting tech devices scheduled for release in 2016 that will be showcased at the event:

Samsung at CES 2016

Samsung is expected to showcase its new range of smartphones and tablets, including the mid-range Galaxy A4 and A6 handsets along with Galaxy Tab Pro and Galaxy Note Pro.

Sony at CES 2016

The tech major has already sent out invites for the Jan. 5 press conference at CES 2016. The Sony teaser ad includes a wide range of products at the trade show, including smartphones, VR headsets and TV.

Huawei at CES 2016

Huawei has already announced its reveal of the new Huawei Mate 8, a 6-inch phablet housing the latest Kirin 950 processor.

LG at CES 2016

LG is expected to announce the LG G Flex 3 running the new Snapdragon 820 at its own press conference on Jan. 5.

Lenovo at CES 2016

In collaboration with billion dollar gaming and accessory specialist company Razer, Lenovo recently announced Razer Edition of Lenovo Y series of gaming PCs. The CES 2016 will see the top end gaming devices in the flesh.

Qualcomm at CES 2016

Major chip manufacturers including Intel, NVIDIA and Qualcomm will launch new processors at CES 2016. Qualcomm may demonstrate new features of the powerful Snapdragon 820 processor.

Asus at CES 2016

Asus is set to unveil the ZenFone 3 and a Transformer Book at the trade show, reports AndroidPit.
