It's good that Miley isn't in the headlines anymore, but "Christian Grey" is definitely a topic most people cannot set aside.

When a character such as Christian Grey is created by an author with a huge fan base that is willing to do anything for the character, getting the right actor for the role is a must.

After Charlie Hunnam, who was announced to be playing the role of the billionaire BDSM-crazed character Christian Grey, quit, people have been wondering which actor would be able to fulfill the needs of the fan base of this fictional character.

There are many names that have been pulled into the list of possible actors for the role but here are the reasons why these actors are not suitable for the role and why these producers are not keen on listening to the fans who have their own Christian Greys in mind.

These actors namely Henry Cavill, Robert Pattinson and Ryan Gosling are good actors, not doubt. The reason why producers are not rushing to get them is because they already have a name in Hollywood which they have become famous for. Pattinson gained fame in his role as the vampire in the "Twilight" saga and Henry Cavill is known as "Superman," while Ryan Gosling only takes on serious roles and gained fame in the movie "The Notebook" where he starred alongside Rachel McAdams.

Actors that have gained fame from their T.V series such as Ian Somerhalder definitely could be Christian Grey but he is also known as Damien Salvatorre in "The Vampire Diaries".

The main reason producers do not trust the choices of the fans is because they only know actors that they have seen on television. Producers want a fresh actor so that he would be known as "Christian Grey" and not be someone else such as "Superman" or as a "Vampire."

A new contender, Jamie Dorman is said to be the one that they will cast as Christian Grey. Don't know him yet? Good, because he will be known as "Christian Grey".
