"The Man of Steel" actor Henry Cavill is once again single. The actor has reportedly pulled the plug on his relationship with Gina Carano. This is the second time that Henry and Gina have split. It is not yet known why they have called it quits this time. The first time the couple dated from 2012 to 2013. At the time, they made several red carpet appearances together. They were said to be "inseparable," until they broke up in May 2013.

According to E Online, this time when the couple rekindled romance, it was thought that Henry and Gina are serious about their relationship, as they had adopted a pet together. They own a cute Akita puppy, which they adopted from Big Bear Akitas. In January, the two were spotted at the Little Rock airport. They had reportedly gone to Arkansas to meet the family breeders.

"Both Henry and Gina are genuine and a joy to be around," the breeders said, as quoted by E Online. "It was truly an honour to add them to our extended family and thank them for their patience in meeting us and our children." Big Bear Akitas also said that it is rare to get a visit from the celebrities.

After their first break-up reports,Henry and Gina were seen having dinner together, triggering reports that they have rekindled their romance. However, the two kept their relationship under wraps and avoided public appearances together. Henry's rep has not yet confirmed the recent split reports.

The "Superman" star Henry Cavill has also dated "The Big Bang Theory" star Kaley Cuoco in the past. He dated Kaley for 10 days in July 2013 and they were seen going on dates and taking hiking trips. Kaley reportedly is still friends with Henry. She is now married to tennis pro Ryan Sweeting.

Henry is currently busy with his new film "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." He plays Clark Kent/Superman in the film. Directed by Zack Snyder, the film is set to release on March 25, 2016 in 3D. It stars Ben Affleck in the role of Batman. Henry will also be seen playing Napolean Solo in the movie "The Man from U.N.C.L.E."
