If you have ever wanted to spend a lifetime with your loved one in one of the most beautiful and interesting locations in the world then does Square Enix have an offer for you and your partner. Starting today, your avatars from "Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn" can not only get married and spend the rest of their virtual lives with each other, but gain exclusive loot and gear by simply tying the knot with each other.

Called the "Ceremony of Bonds," the quest involves choosing between three different styles that differ in presentation. Whether it is in cinematics or rewards, each ceremony has a different flavour to it. According to IGN, couples can also choose different colour schemes for their attires and the location of said wedding.

Upon getting married, the main website of "FF XIV: A Realm Reborn" implores that you must register in a mog station first before doing anything else. From there, you can choose your wedding plans, your avatars and your guests for your very special day.

The standard plan is free of charge and is entitled the "Promise of Innocence." This is the most basic wedding option with not much variety in terms of design, colour or wedding music. However you do get a few new hairstyles, a nice white dress, the ability to invite up to 80 guests and three ceremony style options.

A second option, the gold plan is entitled "Promise of Passion." This features all of the options available in the "Promise of Innocence" plus dyeable ceremony attire, a special chocobo and the ability to change the colors of the carpenting and the flowers. All this for $20 split between the bride and the groom.

And finally the platinum plan labeled the "Promise of Devotion." The final option has all the benefits of the "Promise of Innocence" and the "Promise of Passion" with even more customizable options for your wedding attire, carpeting and flower arrangements. All your guests will also receive a special option. This is for $40 split between the bride and groom.

Gay fans of the game can also rejoice as same sex marriage is allowed in the game. Announced in June, the ability to marry someone of the same sex garnered positive reaction from the gay community. So much so that there was a pride parade during the game to celebrate.

All of these options for your own personal "Final Fantasy" themed wedding is out with the latst patch 2.45. Joystiq adds that more than the weddings, there will also be developments in Zodiac Weapon quest chain as well as a new set of postmoogle quests coming with the patch. This update is already out today, in case you are planning your very own wedding in the realms.
