'Hawaii Five-O' season 6 episode 23 spoilers: The team tries to protect the young niece of one of their own in 'Pilina Koko'

In “Hawaii Five-0” Season 6, Episode 23, a Five-0 team member was revealed to be the uncle of the daughter of a recent murder victim.

“A woman is murdered in her home and Five-0 learns that one of their own has a deepconnection to the victim's young daughter ,” stated the episode synopsis on SpoilersGuide.
CarterMatt reveals that Elliott Gould will guest star as Gerard Hirsch’s (Willie Garson) father.
In the promo video, Danny Williams (Scott Caan) and Alex O’Loughlin (Steve McGarrett) discussed that there was an eyewitness to the crime, but will do anything he can not to get found. There were gunfights and a masked man was seen taking the little girl away. There appears to be more to the story than simple murder.
Based on the episode title, “Pilina Koko,” which means “Blood Ties,” the upcoming episode may feature some details about the life of one of the core team members, to present the deep bond with the little girl. The Five-0 member, who was revealed to be Chin Ho Kelly (Daniel Dae Kim), may even end up taking care of his niece after her mother was killed.
It is still uncertain what connection or role Elliot Gould’s character will have to the story, but he may be have a pivotal position in the next series of events. Not a lot of details was revealed for “Pilina Koko,” but it is expected to showcase the background of one team member, as well as a new case, similar to previous episodes.
As “Hawaii Five-0” draws closer to the season ending, it appears as if the following episodes will continue to delve more into the stories of the core characters in surprising ways. There will expectedly be a number of shocking developments in the storyline and one or two characters may be subjected to some type of danger by the end of the season.
