'Hawaii Five-O' season 6 episode 18 spoilers: Danno and his kids chase down thieves who stole their car

“Hawaii Five-0” has been on a two-week hiatus and will return on Apr. 1, 2016. Season 6 Episode 18, titled “Kanaka Hahai,” or “The Hunter” will air after the network covers the 2016 NCAA Basketball Tournament.

In the previous episode, titled “Wawai,” which means “Assets,” Prosecutor Robert Coughlin was determined to bring down Lieutenant Chin (Daniel Dae Kim) and the whole team for his brother Rex’s death. However, his mole, Abby Dunn (Julie Benz) who is also linked with Chin, realized that she actually admires Five-0’s principles and saw no error in what they were doing. The previous case involved a special flash disk containing special NSA information.

TVLine cites executive producer Peter M. Lenkov hinting some things to expect in the upcoming episode. He revealed that Danny “Danno” Williams (Scott Caan) will have his car stolen. Although he will be exposed to danger, the unfortunate incident will actually bring him and his kids together, as they go on a mission to get their vehicle back. The experience turned out to be a fun and exciting one for their family.

The official plot synopsis stated that the case of the week will involve a man who was left to die as he drifted off the coast of Oahu. The Five-0 team will discover a dangerous slave trade running aboard an illegal fishing boat. During Danny and his children’s quest to reacquire their stolen car, he controls a bus to chase down the culprits.

The upcoming episode may also delve more on Abby and Chin’s relationship, after she revealed that she was planted by Robert to get some dirt on the team. Chin may be disappointed or doubt about her true intentions and the real reason why she got close to him.

The next episode is expected to feature a mix of serious and lighthearted scenes. The adventure of Danno and his children will be the fun part of the show, while the case and Chin and Abby will have a more dramatic feel.
