‘Hawaii Five-0’ Season 5 'Mo'o 'olelo Pu' Spoilers: Kono Encounters Bad Weather During A Solo Trip

"Hawaii Five-0" Season 5 will air the episode titled “Mo'o 'olelo Pu” on Friday, May 1, 2015 from 9:00-10:00 p.m., ET/PT on the CBS Television Network. It will feature the Five-0 crew including Steven J. "Steve" McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin), Daniel "Danny"/"Danno" Williams (Scott Caan), Lou Grover (Chi McBride), Jerry Ortega (Jorge Garcia), Chin Ho Kelly (Daniel Dae Kim), Dr. Max Bergman (Masi Oka) and Kono Kalakaua (Grace Park). “Mo'o 'olelo Pu” is the Hawaiian word for sharing traditions.

After episode 22 “Ho'amoano,” which showed the Five-0 team helping three married men and a mysterious murder case involving a dead woman in their hotel suite, Danny, Steve and the rest of the crew must find Kono who got stranded during a solo trip in Hawaii.

This episode is about Kono’s life being put in danger when she goes on a solo trip to honour the memory of her mother. It will also delve into a subplot regarding a case about cooking Methamphetamine, or meth.

TV Guide reports that in “Hawaii Five-0” Season 5, episode 23 “Mo'o 'olelo Pu,” Kono will encounter some bad weather during a catamaran trip around the Hawaiian islands. Kono will take the said trip because her mother always wanted to do it, but was never able to.

Meanwhile, her Five-0 team will search for her as they try to solve another case about drugs. This time it’s about a guy that was busted for cooking meth. He is claiming that he must continue producing the drug because his son’s life got threatened.

“Mo'o 'olelo Pu” is directed by Eagle Egilsson. The episode’s story was written by Ken Solarz and Peter M. Lenkov while the teleplay was written by Jessica Granger. Aside from the show’s main cast, recurring cast members such as Taylor Wily (Kamekona), Shawn Mokuahi Garnett (Flippa), Teilor Grubbs (Grace Williams) and Dennis Chun (Sgt. Duke Lukela) will be seen in this episode.

Guest stars of this episode include Kala Alexander (Kawika), Ian Neville-Neil (Chopper Pilot), Steve M. Gagnon (Coast Guard Captain Belson), Robert Flores (Coast Guard Lieutenant Young), Jordan Rodrigues (Carter Akana), Skylar Keiler (Willie Moon) and Philip Moon (Makai Akana).

The Internet Movie Database, or IMDb also reports that Miya Cech (Young Kono), Catherine Haena Kim (Nani Kalakaua) and Ken Narasaki (Ke'ano Kalakaua will also make an appearance in “Mo'o 'olelo Pu.”

After “Mo'o 'olelo Pu,” the next "Hawaii Five-0" Season 5 episodes are "Luapo'i" and "A Make Kāua." Both episodes will air on May 8, 2015.
