Hatchimals, introduced by SpinMaster, are brand new toys that have run out of stock in the UK market due to excessive demand. The toys make use of advanced technology that lets furry creatures hatch out of eggs. A must-have for Christmas; parents are trying to get hold of these toys for their kids through retail stores like Tesco and Argos.

These animals come inside speckled eggs that are bright in colour. Kids nurture these eggs for mystery creatures to hatch out. One does not know which animal a child would get before the egg begins hatching.

Children have to raise these creatures and teach them walking, talking and other activities. These toys have been able to gain the attention of children. The excess demand has led to the unavailability of Hatchimals in stores. Parents are even willing to pay extra money to get hold of Hatchimals.

There has been an increase in the prices of Hatchimals in online shopping portals like Amazon and eBay. Amazon is selling the toy at an average price of £110 (AU$188).

Online sites like eBay is providing Australians with Hatchimals at prices over US$200 (AU$268). The hike in the price is due to the unavailability of Hatchimals in retail stores. Parents have become desparate to purchase Hatchimals for their little ones.
