The woman behind the best selling series Harry Potter saga has confessed some heart wrenching revelations in her recent interview with Geordie Greg for The Mail on Sunday. The famous author revealed that she just wanted to snatch a baby form an orphanage, as the author was overwhelmed with great emotion and compassion as a mother herself.

Rowling says that her extreme maternal instincts drove her to do the act in the orphanage as she was confronted by a baby girl in such a "frightening" environment. She also reveals that she thought the orphanage, found in Eastern Europe, was one that was not nurturing but was more of a "prison" for the children.

In the interview, Rowling discusses her work with children to the editor, and she recollects her experiences in Lumos, her charitable organization founded to help raise the living conditions of children in poor Eastern European countries such as Czech Republic, Romania and Moldova. The £540 million worth author also revealed that she expects her foundation to reach Britain for this year. The writer behind the multi-million Harry Potter franchise has donated millions of pounds to countless organizations, often those geared toward helping children and parents who could not feed their kids properly.

Known for her rags-to-riches story, Rowling has also expressed her fears of becoming poor again. Rowling confessed that as a single mother who once had to depend on state welfare, she often worries about losing her money, although her fat bank account is completely opposite of the author's worries. It has been said that the author was once too poor to even afford a heater in a flat, which made her resort to bringing her then infant to coffee shops for warmth.

The famous writer is enjoying huge success from her Harry Potter series as well from her two adult novels, The Cuckoo's Calling and The Casual Vacancy.

It seems that the author has a caring spot for children as you can see it in her Harry Potter books. One thing is for sure, money has not changed the author she plans on giving back more than earning. This is certainly something that many others should take as an example.

J.K Rowling is set to release and produce a movie on her book "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them".
