Harry Potter returns in J.K. Rowling's new story. However, he is back in a new avatar. The new Harry Potter is married and getting old. He returns after seven years and is 34 years old with "threads of silver" on his head.

Harry meets Ron, Hermoine and other friends at the 2014 Quidditch World Cup's final match. J.K. Rowling penned this article for her Web site Pottermore. She writes in the voice of Rita Skeeter, a gossip correspondent.

"About to turn 34, there are a couple of threads of silver in the famous Auror's black hair, but he continues to wear the distinctive round glasses that some might say are better suited to a style-deficient twelve-year-old," writes Rita about Harry Potter in the column.

Apart from Harry Potter, Ginny Potter (Harry's wife) and Hermoine also attend the match. Ron, who is now Hermoine's husband, is present at the match venue. Also, Neville Longbottom and Luna Lovegood join them with their children.

In the story, Harry also has a cut on one cheekbone and Rita states that it could be due to his job as an Auror. It is an "elite unit of specialist officers trained to apprehend Dark Wizards."

Hermoine Granger's career skyrocketed and she is the deputy head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement.

Luna is married to Rolf Scamander and they have twin boys and Neville works as a herbology teacher at Hogwarts. Bill Weasley is married to Fleur Delacour.

Harry, Ron and Hermoine are described as "a certain gang of infamous wizards... no longer the fresh-faced teenagers they were in their heyday, but nevertheless recognisable."

According to The Guardian's report, this article by J.K. Rowling is one of the pieces about the Quidditch Cup. On July 11, the final article will be released. Ginny Potter, who is a journalist, will cover the final match between Bulgaria and Brazil.
