NBC has released its first look video for the fans who are waiting for “Hannibal” Season 3. The preview includes interviews on cast members Hugh Dancy, Mads Mikkelsen, Gillian Anderson, Laurence Fishburne and Richard Armitage who admits to not being familiar with the Red Dragon until he was cast for the role.

Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) and Bedelia Du Maurier (Gillian Anderson) are in Europe when “Hannibal” Season 3 premieres. In the preview clip, Dancy says the viewers will see “a complete new” show.

Anderson says Hannibal and Bedelia get comfortable in a community that spells contemporary Florentine. She notes that her character “could be as dark as Hannibal.” Behind the sophisticated European glitz, Bedelia explores the darker side of the world.

Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) becomes extremely upsetting to Hannibal in Season 3, Dancy says in the preview clip. Laurence Fishburne, who plays the role of FBI’s Behavioural Sciences head Jack Crawford, teases an exciting new season for the viewers.

Richard Armitage says in the preview that he had no knowledge of Francis Dolarhyde a.k.a. The Tooth Fairy a.k.a. the Red Dragon. He read the “Hannibal” books when he got the role.

“It’s a world and a story and a group of characters that people are familiar with, that people love and enjoy,” says Fishburne. “With [showrunner Bryan Fuller] at the helm, he’s been able to sort of take [the viewers on a ride] that even though they know what’s coming, they don’t know what’s coming,” he adds.

In an earlier interview with IGN, Fuller said the series is likely to run for three more seasons after Season 3. He originally planned to spread the series into seven seasons, but he made some creative reconsiderations.

“Hannibal” Season 3 premieres on NBC on June 4. The season opener is called, “Antipasto.”
