February is bringing in a lot of updates for different games, and “Halo 5: Guardians” will not be left behind. Developer 343 Industries has promised fans that it will be rolling out a new update for the multiplayer aspect of the game.

The newly announced Arena REQ Bundles coming in February, there will also be some new playlists to keep multiplayer fans hooked. This time, Grifball will be making a comeback to the game, Gamingbolt reported.

This was revealed by the Grifball expert Jeffrey Fischer. Grifball aside, there is also Fiesta and Assault to look forward to. To add more challenge to the game, the developer is also looking at more tweaks, specifically one that would allow sneak attacks in enemy bases using the ball. The tweaks are there to ensure that no team has too much of an advantage when playing ball on the “Halo 5: Guardians” court.

Apart from new content, there are also some behind-the-scenes improvement happening for “Halo 5: Guardians.” According to 343 Industries, the team has been working on the matchmaking experience for the game. Detailed over the official blog Halo Waypoint, the team has revealed that it is working on fine tuning in terms of geographic, infrastructure and code-based solutions, so that it will keep improving as work progresses.

The work has been a continuing approach, with majority of the basis for changes being from results in Asia and South America. So far, there have been both positive and negative effects for the current matchmaking procedure for “Halo 5: Guardians.”

“These enhancements are nearing completion and we’re confident that we’ll see improvements for those players and regions when we roll out the test this week,” said 343 Industries in the official blog.

The developer has also recently released a tweak matchmaking times. Currently, the team is looking into how attributes can actually influence the ability to match a player. These attributes include skill rating and party composition, which could play a role in the overall match.
