Cartographer’s Gift for “Halo 5: Guardians” was announced last week by 343 Industries. Following the update’s release, the developer has revealed details of REQs available in the update. 343 Industries also suggested that the update will be released next week and will be available for free.

The first-person shooter with a science-fiction narrative, “Halo 5: Guardians” will be getting two new sets of armor in the coming update named as “Cartographer’s Gift.” The December update will bring SPNKr Rocket Launcher back. The tool is available in four choices (SPNkr Rocket Launcher, SPNkr EM, EX and Prime). The new warzone maps (Battle of Noctus) and three arenas Overgrowth, Antifreeze and Antombed are featured in the graphic released by 343 Industries. Battle of Noctus has debuted in “Halo 5: Guardians” the warzone map is inspired by levels in “Halo 2” and “Halo 3.”

In addition, two armour sets Mark IV (Gen 1) and Raijin are coming with Cartographer’s Gift update for “Halo 5: Guardians.” Players gain access to a full set of Gold Standard weapon skins which is coming with December update. 343 Industries has already said that it will treat “Halo 5: Guardians” as a service. With many updates till November, the developer also said that the Forge Mode will also come with Cartographer’s Gift.

With the Cartographer’s Gift update, 343 Industries is introducing multiplayer Seasons online. Big Team Battle is also coming back so the players will be able to join the ongoing sessions of “Halo 5: Guardians.” According to the official blog for Halo games, Halo WayPoint, the first online season will be hosted between Dec. 15 and Jan. 31, 2016. The participants will get a special REQ Pack with an emblem.

343 Industries has not revealed everything about the changes and updates they are bringing with Cartographer’s Gift. The Xbox One user will need to turn on their “Always Connected” feature on their device in order to download the update, as reported by GottaBeMobile.
