“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” is one of the highly anticipated movies of the year. Despite the fact that two trailers of the movie have been unveiled by the makers, a lot of information has been kept under wraps. One example is the details about Elizabeth Debicki’s role as Ayesha in the movie are still vague.

The character, however, has made the debut in the toy line recently. Director James Gunn admitted the fact himself while answering to a query of a fan. The fan asked Gunn about the mysterious character showed in the promotional advertisement of “Pint Size Heroes.” Gunn replied, saying it was Ayesha. Since then, the talks about the character have once again gained pace.

Although there is no confirmation from the makers about the role of Ayesha in the movie, speculations are widespread that the character is the central villain in the flick. “Ayesha is the golden High Priestess of a genetically-perfect people called the Sovereign. She’s not a woman to be screwed with – she, and her entire world, are extraordinarily deadly,” James Gunn had written in a Facebook post earlier spilling beans on the most speculated character from “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.”

Ayesha doesn’t have a happy face as a toy statue. That apparently indicates that the character is a villain in the movie. However, this cannot be taken as confirmation of the same. The other new characters that have joined the second instalment include Ego the Living Planet (Kurt Russell) and Mantis (Pom Klementieff).

Debicki was one of the few characters who were cast in the beginning itself. However, the makers have managed to kept details about her role under wraps. Perhaps, Ayesha is a prominent character in the story of the movie and any revelations about her will be a spoiler for the storyline. The mystery will only be solved when “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” will hit the screens on April 25 in Australia.
