“GTA V” PC version has finally debut after being delayed for some time. And it appears that developer Rockstar Games has a few surprises that came with the release of the title.

The first is the report that the physical copy of “GTA V” PC may actually ship on seven discs. According to GameSpot, the report came from a Redditor, who had a photo of the discs, as seen in the link. While this has not been confirmed yet by the developer, it appears that the leaked physical copy is meant for international market.

Another image shows the stacks of “GTA V” PC version, which shows a rather thick box that could indicate the seven-disc edition. This shows the sheer size of the open-world title, which carries a staggering 65 GB size.

In addition to this, there are some fans who have already peeked into the “GTA V” PC edition. Attack of the Fanboy reports that there is also a day one mandatory update that is at 58 MB in size. The patch is mostly for final fixes, but it becomes available after the pre-load is done.

More importantly, the PC edition requires a Rockstar Social Club account to that players can proceed to the actual game. A screenshot in the link above shows that to proceed, a player must create an account to be able to play the game. This will happen upon installation of the game, so there is technically no way out around it.

For players who have picked up or are planning to pick up the “GTA V” for PC, there is also an exclusive and new radio station dubbed The Lab. Gamepur reports that the radio station will be manned by The Alchemist and Oh No. There is even a third track titled “Speedline Miracle Masterpiece” from Tunde Adebimpe with Sal P and Sinkane.

The report also states that there will be 14 songs coming from The Lab, with three of those already out. And as far as exclusivity goes, The Lab is reported to be exclusive to the PC version.

“GTA V” PC edition has been hailed as the definitive version of the game. Reviews have started to trickle in. IGN stated that playing it at 4K quality proves Rockstar Games’ claim of being the most technically advanced of all the editions. But what’s even better is that the game has been created to cater to different ranges and performance level of PCs. These are complemented many options for increasing performance in the game.
