Rockstar Games recently announced the delayed release of the PC version of "GTA V." According to reports, developers are now making up for the delay with a free $1M in-game cash for pre-orders.

The release of "Grand Theft Auto V" for the PC has been moved to March 24, 2015 from Jan. 27. Rockstar on its newswire confirmed there will be freebies for those who buy the game ahead of its release. "All players who pre-order the game (either the physical version or the digital download) will get a $1,000,000 in-game bonus to spend across Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online (GTA$500K for Story Mode and GTA$500K for GTA Online)," Rockstar said.

"GTA V" gamers are told to pre-order the digital download at the Rockstar Warehouse. Rockstar promised another free PC Digital Download from selected titles for those who will pre-order from the Warehouse "between now and February 1st." On top of that, Rockstar claimed they will also be giving an additional GTA$300K, which gamers can use in "Grand Theft Auto Online." Gamers are encouraged to visit the customer support page for further information about purchasing at the Warehouse. Likewise, the digital download version of "GTA V" for PC is said to also be available for pre-order from Steam and other digital retailers.

Rockstar's freebie announcement came after they confirmed the PC version will be delayed for further development. Developers claimed the game "requires a few extra weeks of testing and polish to make it as good as can be." However, Rockstar assured the release will include the much-anticipated online Heists and "GTA Online" for PC, which will support a maximum of 30 players.

Additionally, Rockstar claimed "Grand Theft Auto V" for PC will feature a detailed version of Los Santos and Blaine County with its graphic at 1080p and 60fps in 4k resolution. Rockstar claimed the PC version can even support three monitor configurations, "as well as NVidia 3D Vision for up to triple monitor setups." It will reportedly also include the new Rockstar Editor, which "GTA V" gamers can use to create and publish gameplay clips. Developers have also announced the needed PC system requirements in preparation for the game's release.
