Rockstar Games has finally announced the release of Heists for "GTA V Online" in early 2015, although no exact date was mentioned. However, the DLC will reportedly bring new changes in terms of gameplay when it becomes available to all consoles.

Considering the long wait for the update it's understandable for fans to wonder if there will be new features added in "GTA V." In an interview with IGN, "GTA Online" producer and lead mission designer Imran Sarwar assured, that in terms of Story Mode, changes have been made to make it as "diverse and as fun as possible. "

"This required a totally new way of testing as we formed into teams and played and replayed a huge range of scenarios in order to make sure the balance and timing of each section felt right," he said.

Additionally, an interactive Heist was what Rockstar supposedly had in mind when developing the DLC. Each online mission requires four players (one tasked as a leader) and with this Sarwar thought there's the tendency for the others to be left on the sidelines. Developers reportedly didn't want that to happen since they would want for each player to be an integral part of the mission.

"It meant rethinking absolutely everything - and rebuilding it from the ground up on several occasions - but it also massively improved each mission's replayability as you have the chance to go back and switch roles to experience completely different sides of the same mission," Sarwar explained.

Another feature fans should expect when the update rolls in for "GTA V Online" is the ability "to skip longer drives." The game producer confirmed trip-skips have been added for use by those players who have already played the missions. While the missions call for a 12-level or above player, Sarwar assured there will also be "a range of difficulty levels to give players of all skill levels a real challenge." Likewise, each Heists mission will now allow for "player choice," where they can choose their own clothing, tactics and so on.

According to a previous report from the International Business Times, there will be Heists-themed clothing available to choose from in the DLC, as well as new contact lenses and new hairstyles. Rockstar has also promised an update on automobiles and IBTimes claimed there will be brand new Sports Classic and Sports class vehicles available all throughout the missions.
