‘GTA V’ Heists DLC Release: Leaked Codes Reveal Hydra Jets, New Weapons And New Vehicles

Rockstar Games has yet to reveal more details and an exact release date for online Heists for "GTA V." However, hackers have managed to unveil some of the new weapons, armours and vehicles believed to be available in the content.

"GTA V" tipster Shady Lapse at Se7ensins forums claimed details were leaked via the 1.20 source code for the game. For the upcoming DLC, some new weapons, new audio and even new armoured vehicles were revealed. Below are the leaked game source codes for the online Heists.

The MP_HEIST_DLC_CONTENT_VEHICLES code is believed to pertain to the much-anticipated two new helicopters or the two new cars for "GTA V." As per Latin Times, it could also include military armoured vehicles such as the APC tank. As for the Hydra Fighter, "GTA V" gamers will be able to jump into the jet's cockpit to ensure their heists are accomplished.

The source code for the animals could supposedly also refer to the inclusion of K-9 dogs or even police horses during the online Heists, while the inclusion of EMP bomb, BZ Gas XM25 Grenade Launcher as well as the Thermal Bomb will reportedly enhance the duel experience for gamers. The thermal bomb and the grenade launcher alone already add to the excitement with the explosive effects and destruction they bring. Meanwhile, completing a bank robbery heist will be an easy feat with the use of an electro-magnetic pulse bomb, or EMP bomb. As per Latin Times writer Danny Choy, the bombs make disabling of security cameras, communication as well as digitally armed safes easier.

Additionally, the leak revealed a new contact when Heists becomes available with "GTA V Online." Jeff could be the new go-to person for new missions. Likewise, the code also mentioned the name Lester, although it's still uncertain if he will also be a new contact or not.

Rockstar previously said Online Heists for "GTA V" will be released in early 2015. The DLC will be available to all consoles e.g. Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3 and PC. Developers also shared its first trailer for the content, where it unveiled new weapons, new vehicles, new gameplay and new clothing.
