Rockstar Games has definitely upped fans' excitement over the much-anticipated release of the "GTA V" for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The company recently released the first person mode option that reportedly paved way for the game's resolution to be updated.

A previous report from the International Business Times noted that the PS4 version of "Grand Theft Auto V" will boast a 1080p resolution. Enhanced images, such as billboards popping up with clarity, will supposedly be the product of the resolution update. Los Santos will reportedly be defined by crisp, pin-sharp surrounding details. However, all these future updates were left to the imagination until Rockstar announced the first person mode for "GTA V."

Rockstar Games recently unveiled the first person mode for "GTA V" for the PC and next-gen consoles. On its newswire, Rockstar announced that the "new mode gives players the chance to explore the world of Los Santos and Blaine County directly through the eyes of their character, revealing all the world's glorious details in an entirely new way."

Rockstar backed up their claims of "glorious details" by releasing a video comparison of the image resolution between the PS3 and PS4 version of "GTA V." Rockstar attributes the impressive game update to the next-gen consoles' power to improve every aspect of the game. On its newswire, Rockstar claims the launch of the first person mode also paved way for major technical changes in the game's aspect. These changes reportedly include an increase in the overall resolution and the draw distances, which are now more than double. Every texture in "GTA V" was reportedly also replaced.

Talking to IGN, Rockstar Games art director Aaron Garbut said the art side of "GTA V" was also updated. The game's quality was reportedly also revisited through every asset. "From additional dressing and detailing of the world, to looking at every prop and increasing their resolution, or even starting from scratch where appropriate," he said.

According to the source, the upcoming first person mode in the PS4, PC and Xbox One version of "GTA V" also paved way for other items in the game to be improvised. Weapons are more detailed, almost every animation redone and every car has been remodeled to feature more detailed interior. According to IGN, Rob Nelson, the Animation Director on "GTA V," described the gaming experience to be "literally very intense, in-your-face experience."
