Developer Rockstar has just launched a new mode “Every Bullet Counts” for “GTA Online.” The new adversary mode is designed to offer more challenging gameplay conditions with several restrictions for players. According to the Rockstar Newswire, the new mode “Every Bullet Counts” is similar to the Last Man Standing variant, where gamers only get one life and a pistol.

Rockstar Games’ official announcement confirmed that this unique mode “Every Bullet Counts” is designed in a way that the four players will have to kill each other to win. Players will not find any safe place to hide and they cannot even stay idle for long.

Given the one pistol, one life mechanic, players should not expect any heavy guns, swords or those rocket launchers. The only weapon in the mode is a marksman pistol loaded with only two bullets. Once the players run out of ammo, the only way to survive will be the melee attacks using the Hatchet or Machete.

“Every Bullet Counts” will not let the players avoid the challenges. Those who remain idle for more than five seconds will have their location revealed on map, instantly alerting the enemy of their whereabouts.

In addition to this new adversary mode, the update will also introduce new locations such as Michael's Rockford Hills mansion and the Tequi-la-la nightclub. To explore all the aspects of this new mode, players can refer to the Featured Playlist. The playlist will guide the gamers through all the new maps for “GTA Online.”

“Every Bullet Counts” is available exclusively for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Just like the other Grand Theft Auto Online updates, this new adversary mode will not come to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 editions.

According to Softpedia, Rockstar may offer special weekend for fans by reducing the prices for in-game content as the launch of this new mode is taking place during in the middle of the week. A few months back, IGN reported that, Rockstar has prioritized “GTA Online” as more than 8 million players log in every week. Rockstar Games announced that the development staff who worked on GTA 5 now works on GTA Online.

“Right now our focus is on 'GTA Online' which has exceeded our expectations,” Imran Sarwar, Design Director at Rockstar told IGN.
