The fall finale episode of “Grimm” Season 5 has confirmed that actress Bitsie Tulloch is still a part of NBC’s supernatural drama series even though she got killed off as Juliette Silverton in the previous season. Series creators Jim Kouf and David Greenwalt talk about the arrival of Tulloch’s new “Grimm” character in an interview.

Spoiler Alert: This feature contains major “Grimm” Season 5 spoilers.

Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) was surprised to see in the fall finale of “Grimm” Season 5 that the mysterious woman, who saved him, Hank Griffin (Russell Hornsby), Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell), Sergeant Drew Wu (Reggie Lee) and Captain Sean Renard (Sasha Roiz) from the Wesen ambush, looks a lot like Juliette. Kouf and Greenwalt revealed in an exclusive interview with TVLine that they have known for a long time about bringing back Tulloch in “Grimm” Season 5.

Greenwalt teased that Tulloch’s new character, Eve, will have a big scene with Nick in “Grimm” Season 5, episode 7. Greenwalt further described the new “Grimm” character as a “super Hexenbiest weapon for Hadrian’s Wall to fight Black Claw.”

When asked if Eve knows who Nick is, Greenwalt responded that Tulloch’s new character does. “It all gets explained, what happened the night that Trubel shot her in the chest and neck with the arrows,” Greenwalt teased.

Greenwalt further shared that the fans will see Eve doing something in every episode when “Grimm” Season 5 returns in January 2016. However, Kouf revealed that Eve will not necessarily be a part of the gang.

Meanwhile, Tulloch revealed to TVLine in a separate interview that she has been really strategic when it comes to keeping quiet about her new role in “Grimm” Season 5. The 34-year-old actress shared that she was absent at the 2015 Comic-Con in order to sell the story on Juliette’s death.

Tulloch further added that most people assumed she was still in Portland, Oregon because she is dating “Grimm” lead actor David Giuntoli. “The reality is, ‘No, the reason I’m still in Portland is because I’m still a regular on Grimm’,” Tulloch told TVLine.

Tulloch teased that Nick will have a wild reaction when he finds out about what exactly is going on in the next episodes of “Grimm” Season 5 while Monroe’s reaction will be different from Captain Renard. Even though Tulloch remains tight-lipped about Eve, she teased that the fun in her new role in “Grimm” Season 5 is everyone interacting with her.

The official Facebook page of “Grimm” has revealed that the TV show will return on Friday night, Jan. 29, 2016. “Grimm” Season 5, episode 7 titled “Eve of Destruction” will air at 9/8c on NBC.
