There is a good possibility that a celebrity will come across some aggressive fans at one point in their career. These fans can get rough just to be near their celebrity icon. Bulgarian tennis star Grigor Dimitrov recently shared a story when he got hounded by his overenthusiastic and manic fans after a training session.

Dimitrov shared a snap after his encounter with his aggressive fans. He was icing the area in his face that got bruised. Dimitrov was still being nice and said he still love the fans, despite what happened. Dimitrov, however, requested that his fans should be a little more careful not to hurt him next time.

Got whacked on my way out of the court! I love my fans but please don't bruise me next time:) #tennisisacontactsport pic.twitter.com/bV4G8ifORw

Dimitrov's post has earned a lot of mixed reactions on Twitter. Here are some of the comments of other Twitter users. Some fans showed compassion for him while some were pretty apathetic of the incident. One user teased and asked Dimitrov if he was sure that his fans and not Uzbek athlete Denis Istomin's supporters were the ones who whacked him.

Dimitrov defeated Istomin in the first round of the Shanghai Rolex Masters in straight sets, 6-3, 6-3, on Oct. 6. He saved four break points during the match that lasted one hour and five minutes.

Dimitrov made a second round exit from the Shanghai Rolex Masters on Oct. 8. He lost to Julien Benneteau of France, 5-7, 3-6. Dimitrov has previously said that he wanted to be able to play good tennis in Shanghai because he wants to qualify for the Barclays Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) World Tour Finals in London.

The Shanghai Rolex Masters is the topmost tournament of the Asian tennis swing, and it will play a huge role in filling the five slots for the year-end finale at the O2 Arena. Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, and Rafael Nadal have previously been named as participants at the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals.
