Toward the end of the episode, the struggling couple appears to be in a better place.

“Grey’s Anatomy” Season 11 episode 22 was written by Meg Marinis and directed by Kevin McKidd, who also plays Owen Hunt in the series. McKidd’s Hunt is helping Amelia face Derek’s death without backsliding into addiction.
