‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Season 11 Update: Jo Wilson Actress Teases Tears Over ‘Latest Script’ As Finale Approaches (Spoilers)

“Grey’s Anatomy” Season 11 airs a new episode (11x19) this week (air date: 4/9/15), as production continues work toward this year’s finale. Camilla Luddington, who plays Jo Wilson, on Wednesday updated her Twitter followers with some hints of tears. What happens next in the ABC medical drama?

Without giving spoilers and using only emojis, Luddington told her followers how she felt about the latest script of “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 11. (See her tweet below.) The emojis on the tweet show fear, tears and anguish, among others.

Luddington’s Jo Wilson has yet to be a part of something big in “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 11. Episodes 1 to 18 have been mostly about Meredith (Ellen Pompeo), Arizona (Jessica Capshaw), Amelia (Caterina Scorsone), Jackson (Jesse Williams) and April (Sarah Drew).

Meredith and Derek (Patrick Dempsey) appears to have fixed their marital problems in episode 18. Arizona’s mentor, Dr Herman (Geena Davis) survives Amelia’s surgery albeit she comes out of it blind in episode 14. Jackson and April lose their baby in episode 12.

Jo Wilson and Alex Karev (Justin Chambers) are still together. At one point in “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 11, Karev tells Meredith he will “marry that girl.” Jo’s past issues with the closeness of Meredith and Karev have not resurfaced in a while.

“Grey’s Anatomy” Season 11 has also given the story of Maggie Pierce (Kelly McCreary) sufficient air time, so far. Maggie and Jo Wilson have a number of scenes earlier in the season, but the two have not really become close, so to speak.

Jo Wilson remains closest to Stephanie (Jerrika Hinton), her only remaining batch mate in series. Incidentally, Steph inadvertently asks a high school student on a date in “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 11, episode 18.

It remains to be seen which character(s) will figure prominently in the season finale of “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 11. Luddington’s tweet is being taken seriously, considering it gathered over three thousand “likes” and “favourites.”
