Grey's Anatomy Season 10 spoilers indicate the ABC medical drama's premiere date falls on September 26. It's still more than a month away, so series creator Shonda Rhimes is out to pacify the impatient fans. For starters, the Shondaland celebrity writer answered questions on whether the series ends in 2014.

Patrick Dempsey sparked some Grey's Anatomy series ending talks when he hinted to reporters he's done the series long enough. However, Rhimes did not speak of any imminent departure involving Derek Shepherd, Patrick's character. She also hinted at Calzona's (Callie Torres and Arizona Robbins) troubled future.

"It's one thing to be cheated on by a spouse once, it's another thing to have it happen a second time," Shonda told The Hollywood Reporter. Fans are speculating Grey's Anatomy Season 10 will see Calzona get a divorce. Shonda added, "We're going to get to see a very interesting journey for both women."

"Meredith (Grey) has two children now, and it's the first time (Meredith and Derek) had a newborn, so that's going to be very different for (MerDer) as well. Their relationship is in a good place, but it's going to hit a complex place," Shonda further teased Grey's Anatomy fans.

"When you're in a long show, there's less discovery and more of an endurance of having to be present," Dempsey told the press at the 2013 Television Critics Association Press Tour in Beverly Hills on July 25. The actor is speculated to have hinted his Grey's Anatomy Season 10 exit. His contract expires in May 2014.

Is Grey's Anatomy Season 10 the last and final season? Shonda Rhimes told THR, "I would like to continue Grey's for as long as I continue to have some story that I can come up with to tell." Earlier, Rhimes had told reporters the Grey's writers are not treating Season 10 as the final chapter. They are, in fact, excited about the series' 200th episode airing next season.
