“Grand Theft Auto 6” release date is reportedly being pushed back further as Rockstar Games will be releasing “Red Dead Redemption 2” anytime between end of September and December. This has naturally caused a tremendous amount of disappointment among fans who now understand that the “GTA6” game has been delayed indefinitely. There are various theories making rounds all trying to anticipate the release date of “Grand Theft Auto 6.” One such theory claims that the game could be released in 2021.

According to YouTuber Itz Frolickz an Easter Egg, spotted in “Grand Theft Auto 5” has given rise to this theory. The YouTuber believes that the release date of “Grand Theft Auto 6” has already been teased in “GTA 5.” A weird door numbering that featured in one of the current game’s airports have dropped the clue. When players visit this particular airport and look closely, they will find two doors with the number 2013 and 2021. This is very peculiar considering the fact that door numbers always follow a definite pattern. The YouTube video has been shared below.

To add fuel to speculation, the other doors in the airport do not have any numbering. Only those two doors are numbered and this has led fans to believe that “Grand Theft Auto 6” will be released in 2021. Needless to say, “Grand Theft Auto 5” was released in 2013. While this theory is the most-believed right now, another theory states a 2020 release date for “GTA 6.” According to an earlier report by Tech Radar, Rockstar Games, after three years of GTA Online, was ready to do “red Dead Redemption 2.”

If the same holds true this time, ten “Grand Theft Auto 6” could be coming out in 2020. The developer has announced that there won’t be any “GTA 6” now as it is solely focusing on making “Red Dead Redemption 2” a success. However, when only the “Grand Theft Auto” series is taken into account, then it points out at a 2018 release of “GTA 6.” "GTA: San Andreas" was released in 2004, while "GTA 4" came out in 2008. "Grand Theft Auto 5" was released in 2013 after a five-year gap. Hence, it could be 2018 or 2019.

In an interview with BallerStatus, DJ Whoo Kid hinted that he will be in the appearing in the next GTA game. The publication asked what video games he has already been in, and the hip hop DJ dropped a major tease. “I was in ‘Call of Duty,’ and I was in some ‘Grand Theft Auto’ games,” he said. “I’m ‘bout to be in the new ‘Grand Theft Auto’ that takes place in New York again.”
