Months after Chelsea Handler said goodbye to “Chelsea Lately,” E! is going to introduce a new weekly comedy show to be hosted by YouTube star Grace Helbig. With a working title “The Grace Helbig Project,” the show will premiere in April.

Considering its social-media-savvy audience, E! will feature an interactive experience over Vine, Instagram and Twitter in Helbig’s show, in which the YouTube star will conduct celebrity interviews and talk about on pop culture trends.

After rising to fame as a YouTube vlogger, Helbig starred in the 2014 comedy film “Camp Takota” with Chester See, Hannah Hart, Mamrie Hart, Ellen Karsten and Rachel Quaintance among others. Helbig also executive produced the film, which was picked up by Netflix.

Helbig is repped by WME. On the eighth season of “Chelsea Lately,” she appeared in three episodes as a round table panellist. Currently, she has more than 2 million subscribers on her YouTube channel.

Born in South Jersey, the 29-year-old comedian studied at New Jersey’s Ramapo College where she formed a sketch comedy group named Baked Goods. She also joined Miss New Jersey 2005 and finished as a semi-finalist.

On Jan. 5, Helbig posted a vlog, in which she shared some healthy recipes and fun exercises. The video titled “HEALTHY RECIPES AND FUN EXERCISES // Grace Helbig” has since been viewed more than 120,000 times. Watch it here:
