Google will hold an event on Sep.29 in San Francisco to launch two new Nexus devices. The company’s new flagship devices will be the shipped with the recently released updated version of Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

For the last few years, the search giant has been launching its Nexus device in the month of October. Earlier, there were rumours and leaks that there will be two Nexus smartphones--one from Huawei and the other from Nexus 4 and Nexus 5 manufacturer LG. LG will offer the smaller Nexus which is meant to be the successor of the Nexus 5 from 2013. The second device will be a larger phablet made by Huawei. This will be Huawei’s maiden venture into manufacturing a Nexus device, reports CNET .

According to ZDNet , the Huawei Nexus is expected to feature a 5.7-inch Full HD display with Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chip on board. The phone will be shipped with a 4GB of RAM, a USB C-port and up to 64GB of internal storage.

On the other hand, the smaller LG Nexus will sport a 5.2-inch Full HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and 3GB memory. There will be a slight upgrade in the size of the battery from the previous iteration of Nexus 5. The LG Nexus will house 2700 mAh battery.

Previous launches have shown that Google prefers to keep the price of Nexus devices lower than other ranges of devices. However, as of writing, there is still no information on the pricing of the upcoming Nexus devices.

The Android 6.0 Marshmallow will introduce quite a few new features and updates. Among many, granular app permissions, Now on Tap, Chrome custom tabs, App links, mobile payments, fingerprint support, power management, new RAM manager, USB-C post support and auto backup of apps are worth mentioning, reports NDTV Gadgets .
