Google Sept 29 Unveil Event
Google is pegged to launch LG Nexus 5X and Huawei Nexus 6P on Oct. 6. Google

Google has started sending invitations for its forthcoming event that will be held at San Francisco on Sept. 29. The search engine giant is heavily rumoured to unleash the 2015 Nexus smartphones from LG and Huawei. The invitation hints that the company will be revealing more products on Sept. 29.

According to Droid-Life, the new Nexus phones will be launched as the LG Nexus 5X and the Huawei Nexus 6P. The rumour mill has been previously referring to these handsets as the LG Nexus 5 (2015) and the Huawei Nexus 6 (2015).

The LG Nexus 5X is codenamed as Bulllhead. Phone Arena reported that it will be coming with 5.2 inches full HD display. It will be driven by Snapdragon 808 chipset clocking at 1.8 GHz and it will be supported by 2 GB of RAM.

The handset will come in storage options like 32 GB and 64 GB. It will be coming with a rear camera of 13 MP that will come enabled with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). The front side will sport a 5 MP camera. It will be loaded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and it will also be featuring Cat. 6 LTE modem and 2,700 mAh battery.

The Huawei Nexus 6P carries the Angler codename and features a huge display of 5.7 inches with support Quad HD resolution. It will be running on Snapdragon 810 and 3 GB of RAM. Android Police stated that it will be coming in native storage variants like 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB.

The rear side of the Huawei Nexus 6P will be housing a 12 MP shooter and it will also come with a front-facing camera of 8 MP. It will also come preinstalled with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It will be packed with a battery of 3,500 mAh capacity, Phone Arena reported.

After getting unleashed on Sept. 29, the handsets are expected to be available for preorders from Oct. 13. On Sept. 29, Google is also speculated to announce a new Chromecast and Nexus Player.
