In 2015, Google’s most anticipated and revamped Nexus 5, one to be manufactured by LG and other by Huawei is still expected to release. After a host of speculations on the Web, it seems that the full specifications and features of the new LG Nexus as well as the Huawei phone have been leaked.

Tech site GizmoChina, has mentioned what it claims to be the full specs and features of the LG Nexus 5. The website reports that the Nexus 5will allegedly have an aluminum frame with chamfered edges and a plastic back cover. It will be priced between $300 to $400 (AU $407 to $543). The LG Nexus will sport the features below:

  • A 5.2-inch Full HD P-OLED display with 1920 x 1080 resolution
  • Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 (MSM8976) processor
  • Packed with up to 4GB of LPDDR3 RAM
  • 64GB of eMMC 5.1 internal storage
  • House a whopping 3180mAh non-removable battery
  • Host a MediaTek MT3188 wireless charging receiver
  • Marvell Avastar 88W8897 connectivity chipset for 802.11ac Wi-Fi, NFC and Bluetooth 4.2.
  • Tout a 13-megapixel rear camera with an IMX278 RGBW sensor, a 6-element f/1.8 aperture lens, OIS, laser autofocus and a dual-tone LED flash
  • Sport a 4-megapixel front-facing camera with an OV4682 RGB-IR sensor and Iris Detection
  • House a USB Type-C connector with QuickCharge 2.0
  • Special features include - front stereo speakers and a rear power button with integrated fingerprint sensor

Some of the specs of the Huawei Nexus have also been revealed. It is expected that the device will sport a 5.7-inch WQHD AMOLED display with a metal unibody design. The smartphone will also feature a 21megapixel IMX230 sensor camera and Rezence/WiPower wireless charging. Google is expected to unveil the new Nexus with the official launch of Android M. French tech site NowhereElse also leaked a video of a Huawei Nexus prototype.
