The Google Nexus 5 2015 smartphone details are surfacing gradually. The Nexus 6 successor will come out in two variants. Rumor mill claims that one will be built by LG and Huawei will manufacture the other variant.

Huawei Nexus 2015 Smartphone

According to the International Business Times, an employee of the Huawei company based in the U.K. has revealed that Google is working with the firm to manufacture a Nexus phone for this year.

However, there are no details available on the purported specifications of the Huawei Nexus 2015 smartphone. Speculations are rife that the Huawei model has a codename of ‘angler’ and it will come with Quad HD display of 5.7-nch and a Snapdragon 810 chipset.

LG Nexus 2015 Smartphone

According to G for Games that cites iNews24, the LG variant of the Nexus 2015 smartphone will be a premium handset. Rumours are rife that the device will be featuring a 3D camera module featuring two cameras enabled with infrared sensor.

Normally, 3D cameras are used for shooting photos with augmented reality and depth perception. Hence, the arrival of 3D camera on LG Nexus 2015 will allow users to shoot high quality photos in dim lighting conditions.

Phone Arena claims that the Android M was showcased with fingerprint sensor feature at the recently held Google I/O 2015 event. Hence, the Nexus smartphone will come with the new OS preinstalled along with a fingerprint scanner onboard.

Nexus 2015 Release Date And Pricing

As far as the release date is concerned, G for Games claims that the device will be officially announced in October. The predecessor model, the Nexus 6 was launched with Android M onboard in October last year.

The LG model has been consistently referred as premium device. In the past, Google has sold Nexus handsets like the Nexus 4 and Nexus 5 with lower price tags. However, the Nexus 6 phablet came was launched with expensive pricing. Since the LG Nexus 2015 is a premium device with advanced features like 3D camera and fingerprint scanner, it may be priced in a similar way.
