The original Nexus 10 is still selling with the new Nexus 5 and the question is, when will a Google Nexus 10 2 be released? Here is a rumour round up on the Nexus 10 2 release date, launch date, specs and features and price details that you must know.

In July, when the Nexus 7 2013 was launched, it was also reported that a new version of the Google Nexus 10 will come soon. According to a reporter for the Wall Street Journal, Amir Efrati, the president of Android and Chrome told him to expect a Google Nexus 10 2 "in the near future." However, a couple of months had already passed and there is still no sign of the Google Nexus 10 2.

In September, Google announced the Android 4.4 KitKat rather than the expected Key Lime Pie, but then again, with this announcement came no sign of the much anticipated tablet.

In October, the Android 4.4 KitKat was launched but there was still no mention of the Google Nexus 10 2 whatsoever. It was rumoured to be released in November and Christmas but the tablet didn't arrive still.

It is already February 2014 and the original Google Nexus 10 remains on sale at the Google Play Store. Recent rumours suggest that HTC will make the Nexus tablet with Google, which could be the Nexus 7, Nexus 10 2 or maybe both. The HTC-manufactured Nexus tablet will arrive in the third quarter of the year.
