Google I/O 2016 event is going to start tomorrow. It will be a three-day event that will come to an end on May 20.

The official schedule of Google I/O 2016 has been revealed. Based on recent rumors Google is expected to make announcements on following products:

Android N

The Android 6.0 version was launched as Marshmallow. At the Google I/O 2016 event, the Android 7.0 and its name will be disclosed. Rumors have it that it may launch as Nutella, Nachos, or Nougat.

Android N is expected to improvements to its Material Design. It will also carry native support for split-screen multitasking. The notification system is speculated to arrive with major improvements. It will also support Android VR services.

Android VR

Android VR, a standalone VR headset, is heavily pegged to get announced at the upcoming Google event. Users will be able to use it without connecting a smartphone. It won’t be as powerful as other devices like HTC Vive or Oculus Rift, but it is expected to deliver better user experience.

Android Pay

Android Pay is mentioned in the official schedule of 2016 Google I/O. The search engine giant has teased that it will be making “exciting new announcements” on Android Pay. The company may launch the mobile payment system in newer markets. Rumors suggest that Android Pay may allow making payments using Android Wear OS powered smartwatches.

Chrome OS

Speculations indicate that the Chrome OS may support Android apps. This would allow Android developers to build apps that will support bigger screen sizes.

Nexus 6P (2016)

Google may announce an upgraded version of Nexus 6P that was released last year with specs like Snapdragon 810 chip and 3 GB of RAM. The Nexus 6P (2016) that was recently benchmarked on GeekBench shows that it will features Snapdragon 820 chipset and 4 GB of RAM. Hence, rumors suggest Nexus 6P (2016) will be launched at 2016 Google I/O.

How to Watch Google I/O 2016 Live Stream?

Users can view the 360-degree live stream of the Google I/O 2016 opening keynote on YouTube by using VR headsets such as Google Cardboard, Oculus Rift, and Gear VR. The event will begin at 10 AM PT on May 18.
